BuildingBasket is a grocery and household essentials delivery service designed for apartment communities.
We make it easier to order everyday essentials online and have them delivered directly to your building.
Where does BuildingBasket currently deliver?
We currently deliver to Central Park, Sandyford, Dublin 18.
We plan to expand gradually to other nearby apartment developments as the service grows.
What are the benefits of ordering from BuildingBasket?
BuildingBasket is designed to make everyday shopping simpler and help you avoid unnecessary delivery and subscription costs.
Free delivery on orders €10+
There is no delivery fee when your order is €10 or more.
If you would normally pay around €4–€8 per delivery, that could represent approximately €200–€400 in delivery-fee savings per year, based on around 50 orders.
No subscription fee
You don't need to pay a monthly membership or subscription to order from BuildingBasket.
Compared with a service charging €10 per month, that's another €120 per year you don't need to spend.
Only €10 minimum order
You don't need to build a large basket just to place an order.
Order the essentials you actually need rather than adding unnecessary items simply to reach a high minimum spend.
Save the supermarket trip
Avoid travelling to the supermarket, parking, queuing and carrying your shopping back to your apartment.

How does BuildingBasket work?
- Visit BuildingBasket.ie.
- Choose the groceries and household essentials you need.
- Place your order online.
- Your delivery day is automatically determined based on when you place your order.
- Receive your order during our scheduled evening delivery window.
You do not need to select a delivery slot.
What days do you deliver?
We currently deliver on:
- Tuesday
- Thursday
- Saturday
Place your order before midnight on the day before delivery to receive it on the next scheduled delivery day.
For example:
- Order by Monday night → Tuesday delivery
- Order by Wednesday night → Thursday delivery
- Order by Friday night → Saturday delivery
Orders placed after the cut-off will move to the next scheduled delivery day.
What time will my order be delivered?
Deliveries are currently made between:
6:00 PM and 10:00 PM
Your order will arrive during this delivery window on your scheduled delivery day.
Can I choose my delivery date or delivery time?
No.
To keep our building-delivery service simple and efficient, the delivery day is automatically determined by when your order is placed.
There is currently one delivery window:
6:00 PM – 10:00 PM
How will I know when my order will be delivered?
Your delivery day is determined by when your order is placed.
For example, an order placed before midnight on Monday will be delivered on Tuesday.
If there is any change to your expected delivery, we will contact you.
Is delivery free?
Yes.
Delivery is free on orders of €10 or more within our supported delivery area.
There is no separate delivery charge on qualifying orders.
Is there a subscription or membership fee?
No.
You do not need to purchase a subscription or membership to use BuildingBasket.
You simply pay for the products you order.
What is the minimum order?
The current minimum order value is €10.
We keep the minimum order relatively low so you can order the essentials you need without having to build a large shopping basket.
What products are available?
We offer a selected range of everyday groceries, snacks, drinks, cleaning products and household essentials.
Our product range will continue to grow based on customer demand and availability.
Will BuildingBasket have the same range as a large supermarket?
Not necessarily.
Instead of trying to stock every product available in a large supermarket, we focus on commonly needed everyday products that are suitable for convenient building delivery.
We plan to increase the range over time based on what our customers actually want.
How are product prices decided?
The price of every product is clearly displayed on BuildingBasket.ie before you place your order.
Prices may differ from prices available through supermarkets, manufacturers or other retailers.
The price displayed on BuildingBasket at the time you place your order is the price applicable to your purchase, subject to any corrections required for obvious pricing errors.
What happens if a product I order becomes unavailable?
Occasionally, a product may become unavailable after an order has been placed.
If we are unable to supply an item, we will contact you where necessary and you will not be charged for an item that we are unable to supply.

Do you substitute unavailable products automatically?
We will not automatically replace an unavailable product with a materially different item without considering the customer's order.
Where appropriate, we may contact you regarding an alternative.
If we cannot supply the ordered product and no suitable alternative is agreed, the affected item will be refunded or removed from the charge as applicable.
Will BuildingBasket expand beyond Central Park?
Yes.
Central Park is our initial delivery area.
Once we have established a reliable service there, we plan to gradually expand to other apartment developments in Sandyford and nearby areas.
