This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how BuildingBasket Limited delivers orders placed through BuildingBasket.ie.
1. Delivery area
BuildingBasket currently delivers to Central Park, Sandyford, Dublin 18.
Our delivery area may expand in the future. The current delivery area and availability will be shown on our website.
Orders placed for addresses outside our supported delivery area may not be accepted or fulfilled. If payment has already been taken for an order that we cannot deliver, the relevant amount will be refunded.
2. Delivery charge
Delivery is free on orders of €10 or more within our supported delivery area.
Our current minimum order value is €10.
There is no subscription or membership fee required to receive delivery.
3. Delivery days
Our scheduled delivery days are:
Tuesday
Thursday
Saturday
Deliveries are not currently scheduled on other days unless we specifically agree otherwise with the customer.
4. Order cutoff
To receive your order on the next scheduled delivery day, place your order before midnight on the day before delivery.
For example:
Orders placed before midnight on Monday → Tuesday delivery
Orders placed before midnight on Wednesday → Thursday delivery
Orders placed before midnight on Friday → Saturday delivery
Orders placed after the cutoff will be scheduled for the following available delivery day.
5. Delivery time
Our current delivery window is:
6:00 PM–10:00 PM
Customers do not select a separate delivery time slot.
We aim to deliver orders within this window. The exact delivery time may vary depending on order volume, traffic, building access and other operational circumstances.
6. Delivery date selection
Customers do not currently select their own delivery date.
Your delivery day is determined automatically based on when your order is placed and the delivery schedule described above.
7. Delivery address and building access
Please provide complete and accurate delivery information when placing your order, including where applicable:
Building name
Apartment number
Access instructions
Eircode
A telephone number where you can be reached regarding the delivery
Customers are responsible for ensuring that the delivery address and access information provided with the order are correct.
8. Receiving your delivery
Please ensure that someone is available to receive the order where this is necessary for us to complete delivery.
If we cannot complete a delivery because we cannot access the building, the delivery information is incorrect, or we cannot reach you where necessary, we will contact you to arrange the appropriate next steps.
We cannot guarantee that an unsuccessful delivery can be attempted again on the same day.
9. Delivery delays
We aim to deliver within the scheduled delivery window, but occasionally delays may occur because of circumstances such as traffic, severe weather, building access issues, unusually high order volumes or other events outside our reasonable control.
Where a significant delay affects your delivery, we will make reasonable efforts to contact you using the details provided with your order.
10. Product availability
All products are subject to availability.
Occasionally, a product may become unavailable after you place your order.
We will not automatically substitute an unavailable product with a materially different product.
Where we believe a suitable alternative is available, we may contact you before making a substitution.
If an alternative is not agreed or no suitable alternative is available, the unavailable item will be removed from the order or refunded as applicable.
11. Damaged, missing or incorrect items
If an item in your delivery is damaged, missing, incorrect or not as described, please contact us as soon as possible at:

Please include your order number and details of the affected product. A photograph may also help us resolve the issue more quickly where relevant.
Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.
